This phase introduces key gender equity concepts, including power, identity, and social norms. It supports participants in building a shared vocabulary and understanding of how inequity operates in society and the workplace. Resources encourage reflection, inclusive dialogue, and brave conversations—laying the foundation for deeper analysis and organizational change.

Phase 2 focuses on uncovering where and how gender inequity shows up within institutions, industries, and systems. Participants explore internal policies, hidden norms, and structural barriers using practical tools like gender audits and diagnostic frameworks. This phase supports critical thinking and equips participants to assess their organization’s current practices, gaps, and readiness for change.

Phase 3 supports the shift from understanding to implementation. It provides tools and strategies to embed gender equity into organizational systems, leadership, and culture. Participants reflect on their position within the Gender Integration Continuum and develop concrete approaches for institutional change, accountability, and long-term equity efforts that are sustainable and systemic.
